Opportunities to Serve

If you would like to serve in worship, there are many opportunities to get involved. Whether you love to sing, are a gifted musician, want to serve God through drama, or want to help on the technical side of the services, we would love to get you plugged in.

Our contemporary Worship Band leads praise and worship at our 6pm Saturday night and 10:30am Sunday morning services. Voices blend with electric and acoustic guitar, keys, bass, and drums, as well as violin, cello, banjo, horns, and other instruments. We value passionate worship and diverse styles of music.

People high school-age and up are welcome to join the Worship Band; if you would like to be involved, please contact Tim Brinkman.

Our Choir leads worship and sings at most 9am Sunday services from September through the end of May. We incorporate a wide variety of hymns, sacred music, and gospel songs. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30pm starting with prayer and fellowship.

People high school-age and up are welcome to join the Choir; please contact Tim Brinkman with questions or to join us.

Our Tech Team manages the sound board, lights, slides, and video during the services; creates graphics and videos for church ministries and services; and designs and maintains the church website and social media.

People high school-age and up are welcome to join the Tech Team; If you would like to serve, please contact Tim Brinkman.

Our Orchestra is comprised of string, wind, and percussion instruments including violin, cello, flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, French horn, and tuba and plays in services and special events on a bi-monthly basis. Rehearsals are scheduled in the weeks leading up to each performance.

Musicians middle school-age and up are welcome in the Orchestra; to participate, please contact Tim Brinkman.

Our Drama Team writes, directs, and produces skits and dramas for our services and special events. From light-hearted comedy that helps illustrate a sermon with humor to dramatic pieces that bring the Bible to life, we value the creativity and emotional impact of drama to proclaim the gospel.

People high school-age and up are invited to join the Drama Team; if you would like to join, please contact Tim Brinkman.

Common Grounds, our coffee bar located inside The Commons area of the church, serves coffee, snacks, and refreshments before and after all services. This creates a welcoming atmosphere and opportunities for fellowship and deepened relationships. No special training is needed to serve in this area; if you are available on Saturday evenings or Sunday mornings to serve, we welcome your assistance.

Common Grounds is directed by Greg and Heidi Rastetter; to serve on this team, please contact Greg.
