Geneseo Mayor's Prayer Breakfast 2024
The 2023 Geneseo Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast will be held on Thursday, May 2 at 6:30am at First Methodist Church, 302 North State Street, Geneseo, IL.
Serving line will open at 6:30am. The event is from 7:00-8:00am and sponsored by the Geneseo Ministerial Association (serving the entire Geneseo School District, including Atkinson). Mayor Sean Johnson is the honorary host. This is a local observance of the National Day of Prayer. The 2024 theme is “Lift Up the Word, Light Up the World.”
The speaker is Detective Jamie Shoemaker of the Geneseo Police who was recently named Female Officer of the Year by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB) Executive Institute.
Tickets are $16 and may be purchased in advance online. Tickets are electronic and no printed copy is necessary; you will receive an email confirmation of your ticket purchase. Your name will be added to our list of paid attendees along with the number of tickets purchased. To purchase advance tickets, please use the link below.
Tickets for entire tables (seating seven) are also available at a special discounted price of $110. Tables can be purchased online, but please also send an email with the sponsoring organization’s information to info@peopleneedjesus.org. You can also drop payment off at office of First Methodist Church, open Monday-Thursday, 9-noon and 1-4 pm. The deadline for tickets is April 24, 2024.
